TYPES OF SENTENCE

Types of sentence

There are four types of sentence we will talk about with more details.يوجد أربعة أنواع من الجملة سوف نتحدث عنها بالتفصيل


declerative sentence:its a statement that rely on informations states a fact or opinion and it always ends with full stop /period(.)الجملة التقريرية تعطي معلومات , حقائق وأراء ودائما تنتهي بنقطة

Examples:

  • My phone is missing.
  • London is the capital of England.
  • Roads are made from asphalt.

Imparative sentence:It is acommand or a polite requset ,always it ends with period(.) and occasionally ends with exclamation mark(!).جملة الأمر تعبر عن الطلب  بأسلوب مهذب ,دائما تنتهي نقطة وفي بعض الأحيان تنتهي بعلامة تعجب

Examples:

  • Shut the front door.
  • Move out of my way!
  • Please bring my umbrella.

Interrogative sentence:It is always ask a question and ends question mark(?) جملة الإستفهام تحتوي على سؤال إستفهامي ودائما تنتهي بعلامة استفهام

Examples:

  • Can you help me?
  • What are you doning now?
  • How are you?

Exclamatory sentence:It is expresses an emotion(fear,anger ....) It ends with exclamation mark(!) and contaning (so,such,what,how) جملة التعجب فهي تعبر عن شعور من خوف وغضب..... وتحتوي على هذه الكلمات الدلالية
