DEFINITION: when we say parts of speech we mean the types of word.عندما نقول أجزاء الكلام فالمقصود هنا انواع الكلمة 
the words can be considered a smallest elementes in the sentence تعتبر الكلمات أصغر عنصر في الجملة
the word has a specific meaning للكلمة معنى محدد


TYPES OF WORD:
  1. NOUN الاسم 
  2. PRONOUN الضمير 
  3. VERB الفعل
  4. ADVERB صفة الفعل
  5. ADJECTIVE الصفة
  6. CONGUNCTION الرابط
  7. PREPOSITION حرف الجر
Other parts of speech 
  1. Interjections صيغة التعجب
  2. Particles
  3. Articles
  4. determiners
  5. gerunds
NOUN: this part of a speech is used name: يستخدم هذا الجزء(الاسم) في تسمية

  • persons الأشخاص
  • things الأشياء
  • animals الحيوانات
  • places الأماكن
  • ideas الأفكار
  • events الأحداث

EXAMPLES:

Tom is a very kind man.(person)

Dogs can be extremely cute.(animal)

It is my birthday.(event)


There are different types of nouns:للاسم  أنواع  مختلفة


Proper nouns:أسماء العلم أو الاسم المعرفة

always start with a capital letter and refer to specific names of persons ,places or things.دائما يبدأ الاسم العلم بحرف كبير ويشير إلى اسم محدد (أشخاص ,أماكن ,أشياء).

Examples: Sara ,Egypt.......

Common nouns:الاسم النكرة

indicate a general noun .يشير إلى اسم  عام غير معين
Examples: car ,book.....


Concrete nouns:أسماء الجماد أو الأسماء المادية

refer to nous which we can touch ,see, etc.....تشير إلى  الأسماء التي نستطيع أن نلمسها أو نراها

Examples: board ,sand.....

Abstract nouns:الأسماء المعنوية

refer to nouns which we can not touch or see.تشير إلى الأسماء التي  لا نستطيع أن نلمسها أو نراها

Examples: honiset ,happiness.......

Count nous:الأسماء التي تعد

refer to anything that is countable ,and has singular and plural form يشير إلى  الأسماء التى تعد ولها صيغة جمع وصيغة مفرد

Examples: video .camera.........


Mass nouns (uncountable nouns) :الأسماء التي لا تعد

it is non-countable nouns.الأسماء التي لا تعد

Examples: rice ,flower

Collective nouns:الأسماء الجماعية

refer to a group of person animals or things.تشير إلى مجموعة من الأشخاص ,الحيوانات أو الأشياء

Examples: faculty  a group of teachers

parts of speech   pronoun:الضمير Is a part of speech which functions as a replacement for a noun and use to avoid a repetition.الضمير هو نوع من أنواع الكلمة  وهو يحل محل الاسم ويستخدم بغرض عدم التكرار Examples :i.you,we,they,he,she,it,me,us,them,him,here,this those. Adjective:الصفة Describe a noun or a pronou.تصف اسم أو ضمير Examples :happy,big,three,green, Verb: الفعل Is an important part of aspeech,it shows action (physical or mental) or state of being of the subject in a sentence.يعتبر الفعل جزء مهم  فهو يعبر عن الفعل سواء بدنياً كان أو عقلياً وكذلك فهو يعبر عن كينونة الفاعل ووجوده في الجملة.
